"Women of Love": Poetry and music at Villa Asquer for the Chamber Theatre festival.
On Sunday, July 6th at 9:00 PM, in the charming Villa Asquer in Assemini (via
Su Bisconti), the actress Martina Carpi, accompanied by Walter Bagnato on piano, will present the show 'Women of Love'. This is a new event within the Teatro da Camera series organized by La Fabbrica Illuminata, blending theater and poetry, written word and lived experiences.

This poetic recital, conceived and directed by the actress who trained at Piccolo in Milan and gained recognition for her television performances in shows such as 'Il maresciallo Rocca', 'Il fascino dell’insolito', 'Carabinieri', and 'L’avvocato', 'Women of Love' ranges from the poems of Sappho to those of Alda Merini, encompassing works by Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Matilde Serao, and many other female poets. These poets are connected by the common thread of love as a universal principle of energy and creative force. It promises to be a vibrant, evocative, and intense experience with the backdrop of piano music and some of the most touching poetry of all time.
