The new star of Brazilian music, hailed by the international press as one of the most beautiful voices of Brazil, presents an intimate, refined, and high-quality concert. Coming directly from São Paulo for only two Italian dates.

São Paulo singer Vanessa Moreno and Paraíba pianist Salomão Soares had previously performed together in larger groups, but it was after meeting in a recording session that the idea for a duo project was born. Their first album, Chão de Flutuar (2019), was praised by critics as “precious” and blends various musical genres with vocal and piano improvisations, while maintaining the subtlety and lyricism of a small ensemble. Two years later, they released Yatra-Tá, solidifying them as the most expressive duet in contemporary Brazilian jazz. Their repertoire spans artists such as Joyce Moreno, Luiz Gonzaga, Djavan, Hermeto Pascoal, and Tania Maria, one of their main influences and the inspiration for the name of their second album.

The word Yatra means “Journey of Transformation” in Sanskrit. The musical connection between Salomão and Vanessa brings freshness to their second album, rooted in Brazilian traditions and embracing creative freedom as a key element in their arrangements and performances. The album also features special guests Mônica Salmaso and Renato Braz.
