Great anticipation for the opening night, on Friday, July 4th at 9 pm, of the Summer Music Activities 2025 of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, which includes 5 concerts held in 2 fascinating and emblematic locations of the city, 2 of the most interesting and significant archaeological areas of the island, and 2 important centers in Sulcis and Ogliastra. The Summer Music Activities 2025 offer 11 evenings of entertainment, featuring 5 distinct musical programs from July 4th to August 12th, always starting at 9 pm. The spotlight is on the Orchestra and Choir of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, with the choir directed by Giovanni Andreoli presenting programs of absolute relevance.

So, mark your calendars for Friday, July 4th at 9 pm in the spacious and welcoming Piazza del Carmine in Cagliari, where “A Night at the Opera” is scheduled, a special evening dedicated to famous pieces, symphonies, preludes, dance music, and suites from renowned operas by Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, and Gioachino Rossini, performed by the Orchestra of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari under the baton of Andrea Solinas (born in Sassari in 1985), a talented young conductor with a solid artistic background, returning to Cagliari.

The performance lasts about 1 hour and does not include an intermission. The Ticket Office of the Teatro Lirico is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm, on Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm, and on show days from two hours before the start. It is closed on holidays and on the Monday following show Sundays.
