New Year's Eve 2026
Three squares for three days of celebration, from December 30th to January 1st: Cagliari is preparing to welcome 2025 with a city-wide New Year's Eve celebration that embraces different genres for an open and engaging start to 2026.
Program
December 30th:
The festivities will begin on Tuesday, December 30th, with a double event.
* The Santa Croce Bastion will host the 'Croccante' format from 6pm to midnight, featuring music and socializing with DJs Sheldon, Raffaele Sanna, Matthew Mas, Maxime Catena, and percussionist Pablo Puddu.
* In Piazza San Giacomo, starting at 7pm, there will be a theatrical performance by Lucido Sottile.
December 31st:
* New Year's Eve night, the main stage will be in Piazza Yenne. Three national artists will perform, representing different generations and styles. Starting with Mimì Caruso, the young winner of X Factor 2024. Followed by Giusy Ferreri, who has had incredible success since her debut in 2008, with hits, diamond and platinum records. At midnight, MYSS Keta will perform, a masked performer and contemporary icon. Three artists, three women, three perspectives to accompany the night where the old and new year intertwine like their stories. The evening will be hosted by Lucido Sottile.
* Piazza San Giacomo will be the realm of rap: showcasing local emerging talents before Sgribaz, a young rapper from the 'Nuova Sardegna' collective, takes the stage.
* At the Santa Croce Bastion, DJs JFK and DJ Aste will be the undisputed protagonists of the island scene.
January 1st:
* At 3pm, the Santa Croce Bastion will host the young musician Riccardo Mannai and his band, performing Italian hits from the 60s to today.
* In Piazza San Giacomo, starting at 4pm, there will be jazz, blues, and funk sounds with Jazzino's proposals.
