LEI Literary Festival – Reading, Emotion, Intelligence
The LEI Literary Festival, created and organized by Company B with artistic direction by Alice Capitanio, is celebrating an important milestone: its tenth edition. Over the course of ten years, this festival has offered readings, dialogues, workshops, and reflections that have captivated a diverse, passionate, and curious audience, placing literature at the heart of a collective cultural experience.
The author conferences, a key feature of the festival, will take place again this year at the Teatro Doglio from December 5th to 7th. However, they will be preceded by events dedicated to schools starting from November 5th, aiming to stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and emotional awareness in young readers. The festival continues its commitment to inclusivity by providing real-time subtitling through respeaking, courtesy of the onA.I.R. association, and offering Italian Sign Language interpretation by the Turin Institute for the Deaf with support from the Milan Institute for the Deaf. Thanks to these solutions, individuals with sensory and linguistic difficulties can fully participate in the richness of the proposed activities.
