International techno arrives at the Bastione: Lady Starlight and Claudio PRC in Cagliari for "Basstation"

The Saint Remy Bastion is getting ready to transform into the stage for great international electronic music. On Thursday, August 13, starting at 7:00 p.m., the iconic terrace in Cagliari will host Basstation, a part of the summer program "Si muove la città" (The city moves). This free event will bring the most innovative and experimental sounds of the contemporary techno scene to the heart of the capital.

The special guest of the evening will be Lady Starlight, an American artist (born Colleen Martin) known worldwide for her live sets based on analog equipment and for her eclectic artistic journey that blends techno, rock, and performance art. Rising to global fame for her historic tours alongside Lady Gaga, Lady Starlight has built a solid underground reputation, releasing music on cult labels such as Ostgut Ton, Tresor, Figure, and Stroboscopic Artefacts, even collaborating and performing opening shows with icons like Heavy Metal and Prog-rock bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.

Sharing the stage with her will be Claudio PRC, a Sardinian DJ and producer who has been living in Berlin for years and is considered one of the leading names in European hypnotic techno. With releases on labels like Delsin and Semantica Records, his performances stand out for their immersive sonic aesthetics that explore new spatial perceptions. Completing the lineup is a set by Andrea Cossu.

The event is promoted by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Cagliari, coordinated by Forma e Poesia nel Jazz, along with artistic direction by Massimiliano Medda and MIS Factory.
