Can you smile for me? Lost childhood

Can you smile for me? Lost childhood

The exhibition 'Can you smile for me? Lost childhood', created by the photojournalist RAI Giammarco Sicuro, takes you on a visually and deeply immersive journey through the eyes of children affected by conflicts, poverty, and injustices in different parts of the world. With over 80 shots gathered over more than 10 years of reporting, you will be taken to the makeshift schools in Afghanistan, the bunkers in Ukraine, the dusty markets of Peru, and the timeless traditions of Myanmar. Each image is a fragment of reality, a message of resilience and hope.

This is not just a photography exhibition, but an experience that invites you to see beyond, to reflect on the challenges of childhood in emergency zones, and to discover the value of humanitarian intervention. The unmissable exhibition will open at Lazzaretto on January 28th at 10:00 am.
