25
Medinsard - Sardegna Music Production Center Concerts presents "25," the work in progress of the singer, author, and composer Stefania Secci Rosa. Taking place on the stage of the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari (M2 hall, 9 pm), it will be a special evening celebrating the journey of one of the most gifted and brilliant musicians on the contemporary scene.
An artistic path that spans twenty-five years of music, research, and visions, starting in 2001 when Stefania Secci Rosa organized her first concert to raise funds in support of Kurdistan. At that time, it was an urgent and necessary gesture, accompanied by a t-shirt-manifesto with the words "To truly live, you must live free: Free Kurdistan." Her voice sang music from Eastern Europe without knowing that it would not be a mere parenthesis in her professional life, but a true direction.
Since 2001, her journey has transformed into a crossing of languages, cultures, and collaborations, building an international artistic identity in repertoires, on stages, and in encounters. A path lived as a daily choice, as constant research, as home, and as a boundary to overcome.
On the stage of the Teatro Massimo, alongside Stefania Secci Rosa, will be some of the companions who have marked and transformed these years of work: from Francesca Puddu to Simone Soro, Fabrizio Lai, Carol Mello, Elisa Lombardo, artists who have enriched her path leading to the album co-produced by Michele Palmas for S'ardmusic in 2023 titled "Sola."
Also sharing the special evening on March 13th will be Balentes, Francesca Corrias, Anna Carla Concas, Silvia Bratzu, Chiara Piras, Fabio Useli, Emanuele Pusceddu, Giacomo Deiana, and the Moonfoongo, with whom Stefania is working on the music of The Brightest Night, described by the artist as "An epic, but beautiful endeavor."
A presentation-concert that is both a celebration and a vision, a memory and a leap, to share with the audience a journey that continues to renew itself.
