1 €uro Festival

1 Euro Festival, the unforgettable event. A special journey that combines art and culture at the Teatro delle Saline. From May to June, contemporary works and timeless classics will be showcased. Akròama presents a lineup of ten prestigious events. From Grazia Deledda to Ezra Pound, passing through Ettore Scola and Oriana Fallacci. It all starts on the 5th of May with 'The Little Prince', directed by Elisabetta Podda. The shows will be preceded by 'Journey in Italy' by Johann Wolfgang Goethe, with Angelo Trofa.
Accessible, innovative, revolutionary. The festival's lineup includes both A (Monday and Thursday) and B (Tuesday and Friday) time slots.
The ten performances will be preceded by a passionate reinterpretation of Goethe's words and his travel diary, with ironic insights to observe our country from a distance of two hundred years.
'Teatro a Mille Lire' was born in 1999 as a three-year project to introduce theater to new generations. It has been repeated over time due to strong demand from the audience. It then took on the name '1 Euro Festival'.
A young theater, with new expressive matrices, dramatic vitality and aesthetics, experimentation, and contaminations: this is the beating heart of the festival that will end on the 6th of June.
The event promotes and disseminates emerging theater productions from Sardinia, Italy, and abroad. In fact, it is an unmissable appointment showcasing extraordinary creativity in theater, with the fusion of the best theatrical abilities, from experimentation to live multimedia languages.
'1 Euro Festival' presents a revolutionary formula with affordable costs, making it easier to include theater in people's cultural heritage.
