TEATRO DOGLIO

Teatro Doglio, a theater that reopened in the center of Cagliari after more than thirty years of closure, holds a significant place in the city's cultural landscape. Located at 32 via Logudoro, it was originally commissioned by the Archdiocese of Cagliari in the 1960s. The theater, a part of a residential complex designed by engineer Carlo Alberto Pellegrini Bettoli, was closed in 1983 for safety reasons and remained forgotten until its rediscovery in 2018 during the renovation of the nearby Palazzo Doglio. Renamed as 'Teatro Doglio,' the venue has been reimagined as a multifunctional center, contributing to Cagliari's cultural scene with national and international events.
