Santa Maria di Uta 2025: Noemi and Tazenda on stage. The complete program.
In Uta, preparations are in full swing for the celebration in honor of Santa Maria, which will take place from August 30th to September 15th, 2025. This event combines deep religious devotion with a high-level civic program. Two music legends will take the stage: Tazenda, a historic band that has showcased Sardinia worldwide, and Noemi, one of the most beautiful and beloved voices in contemporary Italian music. An intense program that celebrates faith and community, promising unique emotions for residents and visitors.
Religious Program:
On August 29th, at 8:00 p.m., the first ceremony will take place. From Saturday, August 30th to September 8th, the Sanctuary of Santa Maria will be a jubilee church, where you can obtain plenary indulgence. Here are the main events:
- From August 30th to September 6th: Confessions every day at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary and mass at 6:00 p.m., with a sermon delivered daily by a different priest.
- Saturday, September 6th: The second ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday, September 7th: Solemn mass at 6:30 p.m., followed by the main procession through the streets of the village. The evening will end with the Eucharistic blessing and the singing of the Goccius.
- Monday, September 8th: The day will start with the Dawn Mass at 7:00 a.m., followed by other morning celebrations and the procession at 10:00 a.m. Further solemn masses will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Monday, September 15th: The celebration will conclude with the final ceremony at 8:00 p.m.
