Alice in concert at the Teatro Massimo on Friday, December 5th
The lineup of great Singer-Songwriter Music at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari continues, following the concerts of Elio, Finardi, and Ron. This time, on Friday, December 5 (9 pm), the stage will host the sophisticated and sensitive artist Alice. It promises to be an intimate and profound concert, offering an immersion into her artistic universe—a poetic and melodious journey through the most significant songs of her career, reflecting her continuous search for existential, spiritual, and cultural themes.
THE SHOW
In addition to her own extensive musical repertoire, Alice pays homage to the great masters of Italian singer-songwriters. With a unique sensitivity, she interprets unforgettable works by Franco Battiato, Fabrizio De André, Francesco Guccini, Francesco De Gregori, Lucio Dalla, Ivano Fossati, Juri Camisasca, and Paolo Di Martino.
These are not mere cover songs but true reinterpretations aimed at capturing and sharing the deepest essence of the lyrics and music. The show, titled 'Master Songs,' organized by the Cultural Association Il Jazzino, adds a dreamlike and evocative element: the incorporation of poems by PierPaolo Pasolini, Pierluigi Cappello, and Maria Grazia Di Gleria set to music by Mino Di Martino, Alice, and Marco Liverani.
'Poetry for all pockets,' as Georges Brassens wrote, referring to the depth of singer-songwriter songs. Songs as a language, genre, and literary music that have marked entire generations, even in Italy. With this spirit, the lineup at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari shines a spotlight on the voices of artists who have made history in Italian music, turning into a shared event and experience for one night.
